Privacy Policy for Bleach Bypass
1. Scope
This policy applies to Bleach Bypass on iOS and Android.
2. What We Collect
We do not collect your photos, videos, or face data. Media processing happens locally on your device.
- Your media does not leave your device for editing.
- We do not require account creation or login.
If you contact support by email, we receive the information you send (such as your email address and message) and use it only to respond.
3. Face Data Processing
For face effects like face blur and face overlays, Bleach Bypass uses Apple's on-device frameworks to detect the position of a face in a photo or video so the effect can be placed correctly.
This face detection happens entirely on your device. No face data, photos, or videos are transmitted to our servers or to any third parties.
We do not collect, store, retain, transmit, sell, or share face data.
Any face-related information used during processing exists only temporarily in memory while the effect is being applied and is discarded immediately after processing is complete.
4. Third-Party Services
We do not use ad SDKs, cross-app tracking technologies, or Firebase Analytics.
Crash Reporting (Android only, Firebase Crashlytics): On Android, we use Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports and diagnostics when the app fails or behaves unexpectedly. This helps us identify bugs, improve stability, and fix reliability issues. We do not use Firebase Crashlytics in the Apple app.
- Data categories: Crash logs, diagnostic information, app version, device model, operating system version, and a Crashlytics installation identifier
- Purpose: App functionality, diagnostics, and service improvement
- Tracking: Not used to track you across apps or websites
In-App Purchases and Subscriptions (RevenueCat): We use RevenueCat for purchases and subscription entitlements. RevenueCat may process purchase receipts and an app-specific user identifier to validate access.
Data sent to Firebase Crashlytics on Android and to RevenueCat is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
- Data categories: App User ID, purchase history / entitlement state
- Purpose: App functionality (subscriptions and purchases)
- Tracking: Not used to track you across apps or websites
